Bama didn’t get a single round to me. That Sticky round vs Scared of the Dark there’s no way I could’ve given that to Bama. JSU executed the song in all its COMPLEXITY and ASU executed it in its SIMPLICITY. The trumpets on Euphoria came in when Dr.Little directed them to. Was it super clean? No. Were they early on the note? No. Were they doing as directed? Yes. Lastly the trombones on Life. That’s literally how their part is to played it meant to be played to portray hurt and pain. It’s supposed to give soul. Just imagine a trombonist playing a jazz solo. As a horn (brine, trombone, and mello ) player it’s easy to hear these things. Not taking anything from KBs reaction because everyone hears differently and bro is most definitely entitled to his own opinion. He has a drummers ear where at I have a horn player’s ear. I give Bama State 1 round and a tie at a minimum. I don't know how I feel about the last song Kevin directected. I think there could have been another tie round because the BOOM had a couple of songs that could have been cleaned up. Trying to bring new tracks to every 5th can be a blessing and a curse. Bama State has potential to be top 3, but they had execution issues and issues being consistent throughout the end of the songs. Trumpets need work too. Their crowd was kind of overhyping them a little. I don't know where that energy was during the game. You can't go gospel that early in the battle, especially unless the song is just fire fire. Can we give a -1 for that round? Kind of surprised KB didn't recognizel Player's Ball Anthem. Big Boi retweeted that one too. I had it was 4-1-1 after Bama State played Euphoria
