This BOOMBOX RUMBLE IN THE RAIN ZERO QUARTER was the first time I could hear why JSU was highly thought of. It was always a mystery to me. I only discovered SU & JSU during COVID. Mr. Taylor's Drowning is the best! I've read about SU & JSU battling all night & getting locked inside stadiums way back in time. They said JSU ran out of songs and was playing scales & crap. Mr. Taylor said in the Fall 2021 season, SU played 110 songs. Those epic battles are why SU's songbook is SO DEEP!!! THEY ALWAYS READY! ****** Could someone please tell JSU that every time they run it back or do a REPRISE, it's an ADMITTANCE that JSU isn't good enuf. Play a song and END IT STRONG.

I was there as always. This was EPIC. The game got pushed back because of the weather ,they was going shot for shot . The rain came NEITHER would let up. They ended up asking both bands to leave. SU was steady walking into new arrangements tho. This was the best zero qt to date ,FOR ME. And I've been on deck for PLENTY over the years😂. 5th ,SU put them to bed tho

SU is bad every year. I loved SU v FAMU 19. It is IMPOSSIBLE for SU TO SUCK b/c no matter what SU had two or three of the best arrangers in college bands. This is still Dr. Greggs' band. If you claim to be a band head, you’d know jsu didn’t get a 12-5 round loss to SU in 2017. That battle was very close leading up to family feud and then SU took control. Only time he rocked with jsu was in 2010. He was very lopsided this boombox too… and SU got away with a lot that battle.
