Id expect them to have enough rhythm to keep tempo, plus most of the band count off the beginning of every song so even if you can't see there's no excuse for not knowing when to come in. More practice..that's all

Su problem they too damn big and really need to put the drum major in the stands to help keep tempo. Everyone can’t see the director due to their size.

That would be true if the director was in the stands then he'd be too close for everyone in the back to see but since the directors on the field everyone should be able to see, so it's a matter of control and paying attention because you could easily stray off tempo with everything else going on if you're not focused.

@@matrixmisfit1987I don’t think it’s an attention issue. Some of those tubas genuinely just cannot see because of the way they are stacked in the stands. If they ever stack like this again they need the drum major to help keep tempo also.

I think the problems with the tubas are they arent feeling the beat and the outside rows cant see the director. You can see especially with the outside rows, they arent bobbing on time. Compared to the inside rows. Some of them are slightly off. They dont have those problems when they are in their normal 2 lines.

Ok SU time to fix to tempo issues 😡 different arrangements thru out the game ,you can hear different sections. Flutes playing fast. Tenor an bass at times . Tubas at times. Some directors don't know what tempo to keep a arrangement at ,so it sounds it best. Bringing out arrangements before they ready to leave the band room. Stuff i have never seen SU go thru this much. It will get fix ,thats a PROMISE
