Bandi Chor Divas

Bandi Chor literally means "Prisoner Release". Bandi Chor Divas marks the anniversary of the release of Guru Hargobind from Gwalior prison and the clever solution he devised to secure the release of others prisoners. This celebration coincides with the Diwali celebration, the grandest celebration in all of India!

Never knew about the prisoners that were released with Guru Nanak, I wonder how many there were, and around what time of the year this incident happened. Have a happy festive season.
