They filmed a lot of this show in my hometown of Marshville NC and the town of Waxhaw in Union County NC. Marshville is also country singer Randy Travis's hometown and the movie "The Color Purple" was also filmed here.

The Bandit movies premiered on Philly 57 in Pennsylvania in 1994. However I was living in Pennsauken NJ at the time when they premiered. The movies were really cool then. Bandit definitely had flavor, pizazz, fun and driving in the fast lane and fast women.

I saw that too back in the mid 90s. They were very Special times for these programs. Too bad it was all short lived. Brian Bloom always hides. He is always doing narration/voice work.
