Hey Shady, here’s a tip for you. A lot of future duelists and current ones you’re fighting use the terrain to their advantage. For example against bandit kieth, wasteland benefits him a lot. Cards that change the terrain are super helpful to turn a fight for you. Zone Eater’s ability to turn an entire row into water is super helpful against the machines. Not only would they lose their bonus, in pretty sure machines lose 500 attack in water. Yeah you’re monsters lose their 500 bonus but it essentially turns into a 500pt swing in your favor. That’d be nice to bait his monsters to attack yours on water so they lose that benefit.

You don't necessarily need Zombie Dragon to fusion summon Pumpking. You just need at least 1 of your fusion materials (plant and zombie) has 1000 ATK or more, unless it would become Wood Remains (1000ATK,900DEF).

Keep up the good work shady. I can nit pick here and there about your strats but glad you are still learning and playing to your strengths. Remember that you can always change your leader and with the help of the monster on the field, as the deck leader, and as long as it stays on the field it can level faster

The use of Labyrinth there was amazing; you cut of his massive 4500 attack monster and gave you loads of turns to buff with Pumpkins. Nice.

i remember riding aqua dragon for a lot of early battles, always turned the terrain to water, tore through bandit keith and anything he could bring out

That's not surprising, since machines are weak on sea terrain, which Aqua Dragon creates. Aqua Dragon is one of the most powerful monsters in the game, honestly.

You should definitely add Shadow Ghoul to your deck for the next duel because it can move freely in Labyrinth spaces

Shadow Ghoul is pretty good, Wall shadow has 3000 defense and is a zombie so its boosted by pumpkin king and can freely move through labyrinth spaces which will become a lot more useful against the later enemies because labyrinth space pretty much appears on every map. Also you need to stop moving towards them over and over again because you keep leaving yourself open everytime you do

Wall Shadow is actually Warrior-type oddly enough. You need stuff to turn it into a Zombie if you want him to get boosted by Zombie support.

Try to see if you can snag Zoa you could make use of him and metalmorph for your fiends and zombies deck, plus whenever red eyes shows up, even better.

Some college friends played and I spaced in and out but now I'm like actively playing this game again and looking for other games I've missed. If you use pumpkin the king of ghosts, it can learn a card finder ability and against some of the opponents there are hidden cards on the board that you can obtain by moving your deck leader onto that specific space.

Shady man good job man definitely look way better than before but I do advise you to get 3 copies of the field spell that boost up your monsters and to also put more zombie fiend type monsters it’s better to just stick with one type

Shady I would recommend adding more trap cards + Yami card. Also, you can see the terrain of the enemy before clicking on his castle to battle him (I believe you press triangle or one of the L or R buttons to view that?)

you should really add that candle of fate to your deck , it helps against so many opponents and it costs very little DC

You can go to custom duel and duel your own deck to farm cards you want duplicates of so more zombie dragons more plant monsters and more pumpkin Kings. That and if you have 5 of the same monster on the field they get 5x the exp per turn for ranking up so in custom duel you can make it last 99 turns rank it up super fast for leader abilities

After this. Replay for the white roses ... to unlock rest of the map and characters Tips and tricks Pegasus - he is the *smartest* npc or rather he treats all your facedownsas they are face up (millenium eye) and all that... Lab Guardian - yeah he's okay and easy just the map... all labyrinth if I remember correctly (btw his monsters can travel freely) Grinding - Back out of campaign. Customs duels.. find the clone deck user.. Beat yourself.. grind that way and learn other fusions Leader - to set a leader goto deck and press 'start' on the promoted cards from the chest not current deck (ps thunder and Dragon is broken for 2800 attacker)

not gonna lie, I was about to be mad triggered if Shady didn't use the Labyrinth wall card right lol. sure it wont work on all fields, but it can be a clutch floodgate card to keep you safe for a while. heck with spell cards you can first flip them, then move them one space before actually activating them. not to mention very few monsters can actually move through the Labyrinth and you literally face only one person that even uses them

Pegasus is actually easy. If you can change his toon terrain to something else his monsters are actually very weak. Love this playthrough. Have played so much because it's the beat yugioh game ever made.

Shady you need to stop moving your leader because sooner or later you will trap yourself but the bigger problem is you leave your flank exposed, Machines move 2 on the wasteland terrain please keep your leader protected on all sides especially on a map that had 3 ways to get to your leader. I found that out the hard way and if you want a certain card like United We Stand you can find the code online and password it in and use it. It helps in a pinch.

you probably already know this as the video was uploaded years ago but the DC by their name is the maximum DC you can make your deck so if their deck cost is 1200 you can use up to 1200 in your deck but can't face anyone with less than 1200 DC

You can use the password codes on the real yugioh cards to get them in the game for example Dark Magician has 8 digit number at the bottom left corner of the card enter that code using the option in game to get card. That’s how I got a deck I liked in the game I just used my real cards it’s best way I found to get cards in the game. The game only had cards from the first 2 to 3 sets.

Leader abilities almost never happen unless you grind for them, for example, Kryuel, Air Eater, and any other Fiend won't get a leader ability until Rank 6, that's 4 more Rank ups you need. A Zombie Deck leader gets one at Rank 4. @@Hydra_X9K_Music Forbidden Memories is even more busted with Seto having 3 Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon who you can't obtain legit and have to Ritual Summon. Same with other characters having Gate Guardian, B. Skull Dragon, Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, etc. The strongest Monster you can obtain legitimately is Meteor B. Dragon who only has 3500 base ATK.

Dragon and multiple equips that can overpower Blue-Eyes Ultimate, you pretty much lose if he opens with it and even if you do open with the best possible hand, he has Spells and Traps that can still foil you.

Just so you know in advance. you're using the cheesiest strat in the game. You may regret relying only on that later.. just a thought. Well.. maybe Water Dragon is cheesier.. meh Oh and Pegasus is not meant for last. the high deck ratings mean nothing. Its actually way more challenging to beat low deck ratings late in the campaign. Just challenge whoever you find whenever you unlock them.
