I found a stack of these baits in the bargain bin at my local big box store. The profiles looked nice to I thought I'd give 'em a try. thanks for the rundown on how to fish them for big-water walleye. Your insight on the viability of dragging these shallow in deep water is great.

I just started using these for the first time last week. I shore fish lake erie from a pier for walleye and was able to get 8 between a buddy and I. And he had 5 the night after. Although mine came from smithwick suspending baits. The action is great and i think they look a little better
