Bandit UTV Suspension full spring kit for the Talon X

I've had the Bandit tenders on my Talon and have been very impressed with them. Now we upgrade to the full spring kit to do some spring rate testing for Bandit. We're testing springs specifically for Talons with aftermarket cages, winches, 2nd batteries etc.. that add a significant amount of weight to the machine. The have the lighter Stage 1 and Stage 2 full spring kits available now. The Stage 3 lit will be available once we get the spring rates worked out.

Hey Terry I put a full set of springs on my talon x and am very pleased! Appreciate your videos. I grew up in Alma and spent a lot of weekends riding just north of Clarksville. Now I ride central and east TN but it's about the same. Rough! So new springs are awesome. Hope you make some more talon videos! Thanks James

Thanks for your great videos.. Impressive shop too ! Anyway I couldn't find your videos that describe your ride experience with the tenders only and the full kits installed. Also wondered how the new springs work when the coil over is extended ( when one wheel drops down ) going over a tall obstacle on the opposite side for example. I have an R which i know is different, but still interested in your experience as I check out what is available for my R.

The review video for the tenders is on the channel. The stage 3 full spring kit that we are working on for Bandit is specifically for Talons with a lot of extra weight like aftermarket cage, winch, 2nd battery etc... It is still a work in progress to get the rates exactly right. I'll post a video once we have the kit nailed down. The stage 1 and 2 kits are available from Bandit now.

Hi Terry great video very helpful. I am looking at getting this kit from bandit and I noticed they have some options on these. They have a set for $450 and a true duel set for $550. Not sure on that. And the heavy & medium. I have a few accessories spare tire, tool box, winch but stock cage. My rear tenders are collapsed right shut and she rides rough. I would like a little more ride height and a softer ride but not sure on what set here with the options on Bandit. Was thinkin possible just tenders also but not sure on full set. Thanks

Hey Tom. Thanks for watching! These choices depend much on how and where you ride. The tenders will definitely soften the ride and give you a little more ride height. The full spring kit is a pretty big jump forward in overall ride quality from the tenders only. The true dual kit has crossover rings so it can be fine tuned more than the regular kit. Really just depends on how much you want to be able to dial it in to your particular needs. I'd say with the stock cage and what you have for accessories you should probably do the medium even though either would probably be fine.

@@droberts4431 Still experimenting with spring rates on the rear. Rally happy with the front so we are close. Bandit has the Stage 1 and 2 ready. The stage 3 is the heaviest and will be available once we get the rear dialed in .

@@droberts4431 It's an Eibach supply issue. They have standing orders for springs but are not getting any where close to as many as they need. Hopefully back in stock soon.

Appreciate all the videos you make Terry. I just got a set of tenders from Bandit to go on my 1000x. I haven’t put them on yet, I was thinking about returning them and getting a full set from shock therapy or bandits full set. How big of a difference is there between just running the tenders and running the full set?

Thank you David. There is a pretty significant difference. Worth the extra money to get the Bandit full kit in my opinion. I have zero experience with Shock Therapy.

@@davidjackson3237 We are running the heavy kit after Bandit adjusted the spring rates based on our testing. We absolutely love it. The rear is so much more plush. Both ends react just about the same now instead of the rear being so harsh.

Thanks! I love the full spring kit. A giant step forward vs the tenders alone. Ride is much more plush but still feels very stable.

Worth it in my opinion. The tenders are an improvement but the complete spring kit is much better.
