Eish Ash Hi, check out my tutorial... kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooPHiqCbpsyob9k You can save your fx preset (tap on the 3 dots at the top right of the fx screen) and use it on all your projects. Mainly you want to use a Digi Comp compressor in bandlab (It also helps if you learn to sing the vocals with your mouth the same distance from the microphone every time you record your vocals).

@humbertoaparicio4648 Hi, at the beginning of the video I show 2 ways to add a vocal track so yes I had 2 vocal tracks on my video. I add the fx to the second vocal track but I could have added them to the first one instead. It works with both tracks.

I use and aux conector in which I can plug a microphone and earphone ar the same time, but for some reason this makes static noise that is driving me crazy and stopping me from making more music. Thing is, if I connect the mic only, noise is gonne. But if I do it through this conector it makes noise.. and not only that, the static noise increases depending on the effect I select. In some you might not hear anything, while in the other hand, un others its just too much. Any idea of what it could be?
@IbandUK2 жыл бұрын
Dope OD Try turning the microphone volume down (you might have to turn down the phone volume to do this)... The static you hear might be digital clipping (input overloading). Otherwise it may be a wiring problem with the aux connector (usually an earthing problem or poor wire shielding that causes the headphones wires to bleed sound to the microphone wires etc) Also, the earphones connector needs to be trs not trrs (earphones without a built in mic).

So basically recording has gone backwards ! Nowadays it takes longer , and it's more difficult to clear vocals up. We used to just have to turn a couple knobs on a mixer.
@IbandUK2 ай бұрын
@babyjudah007 Just simply, nowadays people are recording vocals on mobile phones or in home studios, instead of in pro studios.

will it work for loud clicking? it almost sounds like a clap. guess I shoul try it my self, but if you already know that it wont work maybe you can help find a way.
@IbandUK Жыл бұрын
@jokerrabit Clicking is usually caused by digital clipping when the sound into the microphone or the track input is too loud but it can also be caused by your phone running out of memory to process the audio. It is a rather difficult sound to remove without effecting the recording. Manually, it's possible to remove the click by slicing the audio and either removing the click or adding a fade across the click. Clicks are usually across many sound frequencies so will probably be too difficult to remove with EQ and too loud for a noise gate. But... I will be trying out a new hack of mine soon to see if it will remove clicks, so watch this space 😀

I got a problem in my bandlab app. It sounds scratch when it has many layer records. I don't what is happening and i don't know how to fix it. Please hope you notice me.
@IbandUK6 ай бұрын
@stevevaialmirol4158 Hi, if you record more than one vocal track, don't add the same fx to more than one track, as this can cause big problems, especially when the vocals are not almost identical on each track. Also pan them a little bit so they are not panned to the same position in the mix. Keep in mind how much memory you phone has too, as recording and playback can start to have problems if the bandlab app starts to run out of memory.

When I drag the noise gate, too much, it ceases some parts of the audio, not sounding out, what the best settings to set on ??
@IbandUK Жыл бұрын
@jeriahshield2955 The threshold will generally be about minus 30dB but it depends on how loud your recording is. It's best to solo the track and set the threshold to minus 30dB, then move the threshold slider until you can clearly hear all your vocals but you can't hear the hum/noise. If the recording level is too low, or the singer is standing too far away from the microphone, then it can be difficult to find the exact slider position but in most cases, the small amount of hum/noise that can still be heard while the track is solo'd, will be hidden in the mix by the other song tracks.

Why the beat stop when I press record?
@IbandUK Жыл бұрын
@user-vw6lm3tn7k This usually happens if you try to record on the same track as the beat but can also happen on some budget Android phones. Try tapping on the settings icon (cog icon at top right of screen), scroll down the screen and tap on the toggle switch to the right of the words Audio Safe Mode, so the toggle turns blue.

@Rmo_cali23 It sounds like you have an auto volume leveller activated. If you are recording with your phones microphone, it most likely is a function (feature) of your phone and may or may not be possible to switch off in the phones settings.

Kentoodifferent Hi, you can use this method to remove track noise from any audio track in bandlab (a guitar track for example). Instead of recording a silent section with a microphone, find a recorded section of the audio track that does not have any recorded instruments or vocals on it and use that section to set up the multi filter.

@IbandUK2 жыл бұрын
KINGMARCEL Static noise is often caused by bad earthing of an electrical circuit. This might be the microphone itself or a power input (like when a power source is connected to the usb port on a phone) or shielding problem (unshielded cables or microphone wiring) or even electrical interference (like fluorescent light tubes).
