The communities I have been a part of on Discord and on Twitch have been an absolute life saver this past year. I don't have the words to emphasize that point enough. In spite of the bad, I am so incredibly grateful for the friends I have made and all the apps that allow us to have real functioning communities online and across the globe. Wow, I'm misty eyed! I think this New Years will be like no other; bittersweet.
