Dark Funeral’s Where Shadows Forever Reign was one of the albums that eased me from hating Black Metal as a whole to enjoying the melodic variety of Black Metal alongside Dissection and a couple others. steller album with no duds at all in my opinion.

Where Shadows Forever Reign is a brilliant album, a perfect equilibrium of chilling Black Metal and more Melodic leanings, as you say. I'm pleased to hear that Dark Funeral were able to convert you to the darker side! 🤘
