Good suggestions all the way through. I also made the mistake of buying too small a bandsaw. I still haven't upgraded it due to finances. My biggest gripe with it isn't capacity but power. Thanks for sharing Kerry! Now get cracking on those 700 bowls!! 😂

Cheers, Stu. I’m always keeping my eye peeled for a bargain. Bought that 10hp dust collector for $250 AUD. Bargain. Yes, sir! 700, haha, here we go! Kez

@@KerryCorney I’ll be doing the same for a bigger bandsaw. They come up for sale occasionally but I’m in a small town, not a major city like yourself. Hope the 700 bowl project doesn’t burn you out! Take care Kezz

Thanks for this video. Having the support tools for the lathe is just as important as the lathe, itself. Also, the safety reminders! With all the attention on table saws, a bandsaw is often overlooked as being one of the most dangerous tools in the shop. Also, the reminder of positioning so you can be aware of your surroundings is another overlooked safety aspect. Keep 'em coming and help us all stay safe.

Awesome job Kerry. Love the equipment videos. You are so right about getting the equipment you need We may have all went and bought little and outgrown. I like you moved up to the 5 horse and have yet to find a need for anything else. When I use for roughing out I use the woodmizer double hard and just switch from 7 degree 1 tooth per inch and the 9 degree for my hard woods and softwoods. When we cut our lumber up for the school classes we can do in a day what used to take us 3 on my little jet. Great job again big guy👍

Congrats on the big order! I'm sure they will be very pleased with the results. Where did your nickname come from?

Thanks for leaving a comment, mate. The nickname came from Kerry. We Aussies tend to turn any name with a double “R” into “ZZ.” Kerry 😏 Kezza.

Thanks for the video, have you tried the TCT blades, you will find them really awesome. The large blue circle markers, can you tell me where you got those. Have been looking for some time.

Thanks for letting me know about the TCT blades, mate. I haven’t used them before. Might have to give them a go on the next one. The blue compass came from an old woodturner who has since passed away. But I will have a look on Amazon and see if there is something similar. Cheers for the comment, mate. Kez
