I've always loved unique songs, away from the mainstream sounds because unique music brings so much more unique emotions. With this one, it's a mixture of reminiscences and bittersweetness that I feel. The lyrics are so bittersweet, "and I know that these things aren't real, as perfect as they feel, I'm content with this unreal dark world," this dream world is literal heaven for him, a million times better than this hard grime boring reality, and each and every night he see's the girl of his dreams, feeling like he's known this girl for thousands of years yet can't remember her name or even her face when awaken, and the only thing he wishes is to stay in this world with this beautiful girl. The video to this brings me reminiscences, if you close your eyes and think of a memory, it looks like each clip of this video, slightly black and white with bits of color, and only seeing 2-10 seconds of that memory, never truly sure of what happened before & after this certain memory because this small second of time is what you truly remember, so with this, it feels like I'm watching someone's memories as he thinks back on the good ol' days. Another interpretation that I feel with this, is this could also be the beautiful dreams that he see's at night too. (Sorry if non of this made sense and I sound like a crazy person, but keep watching it and reading this, you'll understand 😊)

lol not to be negative or anything, maybe so people can be less ignorant really, but anyways--i feel like this time in Hawaii as shown in the vid is what most people idealize it to be when they come. based on scenes and clips, totally letting it fly bc you may not have relations to Hawaii at all or its significance, but when you come, don't come with this image like this edit is. lol Hawaii is beautiful, dont get me wrong--born and raised and I have so much love for my family and the culture there--its diminishing every day, and not to like shame white people, but also, it was them who contributed to this...and like in this video, it's just them really--chillin,surfin,attempting to dance hula...smh...but not to take away that this stuff is also what Hawaii is about too....kinda just saying take into consideration that theres more to it than visual paradise. please educate yourselves about Hawaii too lolololololol idk your trip could be bettered from that too :)
