The current Beolit 20 series has quite a few fake speakers, they are very similar to the genuine product, and can even connect to the B&O app. Will the Beolit 17 series be less fake?

I have a Beloit 17 speaker. I had replaced the battery and the indicator is green. But the buttons not respond. I measure the button work, but I have no 3 volts on the button board. Where is the error?

I have another model, I had replaced the battery. The battery is now charged, but when I unplug the usb cable, the Beolit turn off. When I put the cable back again, then I can turn on the Beolit. What's going wrong?

I would start at the battery and trace where the power loss is. Check for pinched or broken wires

Sounds like possible battery capacity issue. Can you remove and load test the batteries?

@@thecityviking I measured the cable, there are no broken wire. The battery is charged and the B&O app, display 100% and the light is green. The battery have 8,2 volts. The other model has the same symptoms but when the battery is full charged und the usb -c is connected then blows up the diode D16 near the data connector to charging port. I have two Beloit 17 model they have problem with the power system.

@thecityviking Update, so I have voltage on the buttons now. I replaced the D16 double diode (KL3), the capacitor C158 (the part was shortened) and I replaced U10 the voltage regulator. My Beolit turns on now, when the usb-c cable is connected. The battery is charged, but when I pull the usb-c cable, the box turned off. What is here the problem? Maybe the battery management system?

What are the chances you’ve had to fix this thing when the charging cables have been replaced and the block has been replaced and the battery has been replaced but it won’t charge, all she does is flash red quickly then slowly Amber and blue and white (all at once it’s a pretty light show) slowly then back to red flashing? B&O sent me a 30% off voucher because I’m out of warranty. I would gladly give you my voucher if you can show me how to fix my speaker. I want my baby to work. I don’t want one of the new ones - I can’t afford it! Also if you know how I could convert the rechargeable aspect of this thing to make it fully plug in only, that would be my dream come true!

Can you verify that the battery you replaced is charged before you install it? I am not sure of what the color light show means, but not all charge cables are equal. Did you verify that your charge cable is capable of charging at the high power that your B&O requires? If you have an android phone, it should do the fast charge. As for converting it to just run off plug-in power, I thought it could be charged while playing? Unfortunately, the one I was working on was not mine, so I can not investigate for you.
