Fact/Rumour news :- The end Airplane water ski scene was actually first done by hritik himself so as to make more "Realistic" as opposed to a stunt double , but that went horribly wrong and he was put like a year in hospital for a sustained injury , hence the movie got delayed also .

This is an excellent action, dance and romance packed entertainer I don't care what anyone says I watched it first day first show and extremely enjoyed it. Barring Katrina in emotional scenes the acting is great especially Hrithik. Cinematography and VFX is great Siddharth Anand likes Hollywood style action yes I know its Knight and day remake but they remade it well. The music and dance numbers are absolute chartbusters.

It was a fun movie doesn’t matter even if it was a remake of knight & day (I love cruise) ,or that ,as a matter of fact it wasn’t faithful to the original source material or it deviated a bit. A movie should give you fun ,excitement ,joy ,after watching a movie you should be like okay ,it doesn’t matter weather the movie was good or bad if it provided you fun ,made you escape into the world of no worries ,then it was definitely worth the time you spent.

For your info, I am a life long cinephile and i have seen a lot of films of all languages, indian and international, an art house indie or commercial entertainer. For 2014, Bang Bang has great action, it has great music and dancing, it has gorgeous charismatic leading stars. It's meant to be an entertainer and it suceeds in entertaining much more than Knight and day. You spoke about "taste in action movies", the action in Bang Bang is on par with the best hollywood action films till 2014, it's unique, creative and thrilling, there isn't even CGI used, the stunts are done practically, Hrithik had to go through a brain surgery because he was injured. The fact that you're comparing the action in Bang Bang to Dabang and Singham tells me you haven't even seen it but just hating it because it's "bollywood" so that you can sit on your high horse and make a value judgement.

Jaby you need to watch SRK's interview with Sundar Pichai (google CEO). You'll get to know his motivation behind red chillies vfx and why red chillies vfx is so good. Ps: I have a different srk video suggestion for a different channel, who I know would like it a lot more and be interested in what srk talks in it a lot more - as they were always curious about how srk choses his movies and all, and if he looks at acting and chooses his movies as an art or like lets say, for entertainment value (or(/ie) like, for his fans ie what his fans (ie his audience) want (from him).); and also (bcoz) acting, acting as art, movies as art, etc is their 'genre/area' of interest (, in general (only)); but only if they freakin listened to their audience, smh.
