As hating on Salman is a trend nowadays, some people might come at me for saying this but- Kick is one of the best movies made in the Masala genre. It provides what it promises- wholesome entertainment. I think kick is the film that is perfect for anyone who wants to know which Salman did the country go crazy for in the 2010s. Its a film totally carried by Salman who just entertains throughout. Nawaz and Hooda were icing on the cake. This over the top yet cheeky and hilarious Salman got lost after Tubelight (ig). Some say he toned himself down after his performance in Tubelight was largely rejected as 'overacting'. The Salman of today is sadly just stoic and too subdued. Hope this Kick wala Salman returns someday.

Yes! Syntell is finally back!!! We've missed him so much.... BTW, interesting choice of movie. This was actually a remake of a Telugu movie, which starred Ravi Teja. To each his own, but I feel that the original movie had a comedic silliness which made it funny to watch. The mannerisms and voice modulations of Ravi Teja sir would make us laugh every time he did his bits. Also, the original version went all out on its "mass" image and comedic gags, which this one attempted to walk back on.

Original one is more of a comedy film and this one is more of a action film. They removed whole Brahmanandam sequence and it's for best, Hindi audience would have cringed at that, and that sequence would have spoiled the action screenplay. Both are superb in their genres, ppl comparing here are stupid.

Unpopular opinion but the original version of kick with raviteja is something else entirely 😭 it has comedy like no other and emotions too! it's just my opinion but in the original kick, they focused more on the story rather than trying to make the hero some kind of action superhero but the hindi remake focused more on action (no hate to sallu bhai i just love the telugu version more)
