Bang For Your Buck Brake Upgrade on an Audi S3 or Golf R MK7. RS3 Brake Cooling Duct Install

We got a set of the brake air guides of an Audi RS3 and put them on our S3 8V. It is a super easy way to increase your braking performance for an Audi S3, Golf R and other MBQ chassis cars like the TT and Gti. We even trimmed the rotor dust shields in our Rotor install video to get more airflow.

you can also fit these airducts to the 2015/2016 Model RS3s (with a bit of modification). Some of the early facelift RS3s also came without them.

For my MY15 S3 I had to cut one lug off (on the corner closest to the rear of the car and farthest from the rotor) for the deflector to sit better on the arm.

After putting on the Whiteline control arms we had to cut most of the tabs and get it secure with a few more cable ties

Should we also install the vented back plate that comes on the RS3 so that air can actually hit the brakes?

We found the cheapest price at our local Audi dealer. Just call your local dealer and give them the part numbers we listed in the description. Im not sure about the TT fitment but it wouldn't be hard to trim and modify to fit.

Yang Richard they are just plastic so you can always just trim to fit better

I will probably help but still thats way to homemade, with zipties realy. Just better discs and pads and if you wanna take it there different brake oil would be better. Yes it's more expensive but you don't wanna budget when it comes to brakes. I have an rs3 8p and they have problems with the right disc warping and justtering under braking because the cooling holes in it are pointed the wrong direction on the right side and I just bought move it upgraded discs with the pads which set me back 1700euro's but problems solved and there's not shit hanging on my car with zipties.

The zip ties come on the RS3 ducts from factory.

@@TheEddysGarage holy shit realy, from the 8v models on than? I have an 8p and dont have it. Why dont they just driil 2 little holes in the suspension arm? I'm sure it wont change anything in terms of rigidity when only small holes.
