Bangalore needs more broad and planned road network.

Unfortunately, this is a very old city that was not planned well back then. They have actually put in a lot of efforts over the years to broaden the streets to the max the city and local residents have permitted. All the newer layout and connecting roads are seeing this happen. The issue is, the quiet, garden city suddenly exploded commercially and became one of the main IT hubs during '93-'94 and everything kept on expanding to accommodate the sudden insurge of high-rises, residents, demand of water shot up, that they completely neglected or set a low priority to the improvement of roads.

I agree. Some of the newer areas especially in the IT area are (and were) villages which need renovation/redevelopment. Housing near IT areas needs good infrastructure for development.
