Watch my bus journey from Bangalore to Kozhikode by KSRTC Airavat Volvo B11R. This is my first journey to Kerala state and I will be uploading many more videos of the beautiful journeys done in Kerala like Munnar, and back. I booked the KSRTC Airavat B11R bus online from the KSRTC App and the fare was Rs. 643 including the internet charges and so on. I have also showed how we can book the ticket online from the KSRTC App. Buses to Kozhikode from Bangalore leave from Shanthinagar Bus stand and Mysore Satellite bus stand. I booked the 10 am bus so that I could shoot the morning beauty and also see if i could capture any wildlife. This bus passes through the Bandipur forest so you get to see the wildlife for free. I have travelled via Bandipur before and enjoyed it very much You should not miss the view from the THAMARASSERY CHURAM or Wayanad Ghat. It's one of the most beautiful ghat and has so much beauty to offer. I was lucky to witness it and the KSRTC Staff were very helpful as well. I reached Kozhikode at 8:45 pm, 45 mins late due to the heavy traffic on the ghat as everyone was busy viewing the beauty. A big salute to the drivers who drove through that ghat as they would leave from Kozhikode at 10:30 pm again towards Bangalore.

I remember on our BLR-Thrissur route, Mr.Sidde Gowda had driven solo. Started the bus with a fault, but proactively took it to the Volvo depot, got it rectified & covered the trip albeit an hour late. KSRTC needs such folks in its ranks. Thanks for sharing this video

I have travelled in Assam State transport, up transport, north bengal transport, Kerala State transport, but nothing comes close to the quality and comfortabilty we get in ksrtc , even the non AC buses like rajhamsa are comfortable to travel

Wayanad ghat is super crowdy on sundays. Being a local i hate driving through this route on sundays and other public holidays due to the mess created by tourists. Traffic is high on Mondays and fridays as well.
