Just one tip before leaving from the current charging location recheck the status of the next station

@@NoiseFaktory Sure, will be taking charging stops @ every 180~190 kms. By the way, after prime update, pickup has lowered down. Some issues are there in car, so getting it rectified before leaving. Regen modes are good but sometimes regen is shown but not happening actually, as range increase is not happening. So getting it rectified before leaving. Plan is slightly delayed because of this. Thanks for the advice.

I did a trip to my friends hometown Approx 300 kms of travel round trip in Tigor ev recently bought in our house, which got me into this conclusion for ev that ev having real world range of about 240-250kms are best utilised for only inter city travel, but if ev has range 450 to 600+ kms can be driven anywhere without much thought and hassle. Ev with smaller battery pack will consume more time against money it saves because of its repetitive charging requirements. But yes if chargers are widespread and available every where then it is less hassle for sure.

Hey in past we did have issues with isolated chargers but most of these chargers at showrooms so you at least have a security guard to accompany you ... we check on PlugShare for available amenities at these chargers

Stopped comparing with cng as the cost is almost the same of all fuels between 90 to 100 ... so it's roughly a 10% difference

Bro i charged my tiago ev with jio pulse 60kwh dc charger in mysuru for 1hr and after 1hr i got hight battery temperature indication(sound and blinking) on dashboard screen. Why that happened do you have any idea about it? Next day i charged my ev at tata showroom 25kwh dc charger for ½hr this time nothing happened. But later that same day i charged my ev at zeon 30kwh dc charger this time high battery temperature indicator was on(no sound or blink). Pls do answer my questions 😊

Hi so it usually happens in summer or during high outside temperatures... when you are continuously driving your car in heat and then directly put it on fast charging the battery gets over heated which causes that alert you are receiving nothing to do with chargers ... to avoid it just be cautious and let the car cool down a little bit before you start fast charging, chargers with covered parking are very helpful in such scenarios as with open parking spots car is getting heated with direct sun plus the battery heating caused by charging

Sedan vs hatchback is a personal choice. Technically i suggest u tigor or wait 2 months for punch ev. Citroen doesn't have active cooling for the battery which is a big redflag.

EV is not worth with current fuel price in India, i just traveled from Bnagalore to Pune with 4 adults in Ritz LDI, driving all the way at 100KM/h in 15hrs, fuel cost : Rs 3825 only and not 10k as you have mentioned in video, i.e Rs 4.50/km and only one fuel break near Pune almost at the end. as it was overnight drive, just had once tea and few restroom breaks. did not waste money on stay. issues with EV 1. very high vehicle cost. 2. very high insurance cost. 3. unrelieable and poor support. 4. The vehicle is heavy need to change tyres every 30K km. 5. need to educate yourself how each charger works. 6. charges are not maintained, or it's down. 7. Need to drive between 70 to 80km/h to get good range. 8. wasting time in charging stating. 9. Charging speed is low when outside temp is very high.

Hi the price comparison is done with the same category of car that is Tigor petrol/diesel and the mileage it gives ... as you can see had driven at 90+ speeds in the video so the limit is also out of question as the number of chargers are increasing by the day ... in our Nexon ev it's 75k kms now and we have not yet changed the tyres rather not felt the need of doing it so , if someone has given you that info that in 30k tyres have to be replaced then it's wrong and lastly stay was on purpose not forced cos of ev it was the way we planned the trip . Only thing we agree on is the reliability of the network cos of downtime n maintenance and the time wasted in charging but that will change once the higher range or faster charging cars are there in the market

Also the 10k was calculated for the return journey in your car it's coming upto 7650₹ for 1700 kms whereas we have covered over 2000 kms if we calculate that it's roughly 9000 kms
