I had a friend that knew more about rock stars than anyone else. he was a rock and roll encyclopedia. I saw KISS on TV one night. Like most people, I was blown away. The next day, I asked him about KISS and he never heard of them. I was the one who introduced him to KISS. Of course he found out about them. But for one moment, I was the king of rock trivia. As a guitarist who had never heard of Kiss before I bought this album at 11 years old just because of the cover. I later joined the Kiss army (nerds in middle school) and to this day I can't leave the house or the car until the guitar solo is over in any song. 😂

KISS is best experienced live. Their stage presence is phenomenal, and their antics are something to behold. Their best performances are with the original lineup of Gene, Paul, Ace, and Peter. Some of their best live performances on KZbin come from their 1970s tours, their 1998 reunion tour, and their Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Concert. The 1998 Brooklyn Bridge Concert is killer, especially their performance of Rock 'n' Roll All Night.
