I had that feel all along the game that you underestimated your opponent and kept looking for chances too eagerly even when your position was worse. My humble opinion. Thank you for your instructive coverage of your games Kostya.

I think it's important to look for chances when one is worse!

Great explanation of your thoughts during the game. Unfortunately this was the one I saw live but good to see you bounced back on the last day.

Man, seemed like dude played really well. Tough one. Would be curious what his average centipawn loss was. Don't worry Kostya, I have a feeling you are going to finish pretty strong and win 2 out of your last 3 games!

5:21 Before moving the Queen's knight to c2 or b1, I was looking at Ne5. This restricts the black Queen's knight to d7 without threat of capture. Or does this not work? I was eyeing Ng5 as well, threatening e6 perhaps leading to Re8 before a subsequent h6? Possibly ..., Re8, h4, h6, Nh3 preparing Nf4 and if Be2 you're setting to push h5? Dunno. Tough fight all the same.

Why can't black reply to h4 with h6 one move earlier?

Kostya do you think/feel your high online profile makes you a bit of a target and encourages opponents?
