Bangkok 2021: Thailand’s Biggest Flower Market At 5AM 🇹🇭

Welcome to Thailand’s biggest flower market! We’re in Bangkok very bloody early this morning. I left my hotel room at about 4:30am just to catch the most vibrant time of this 24hr market .
The locals call this place Pak Khlong Talat. It used to be a floating fish market but the place smelt pretty bad so sellers ended up using flowers to mask the smell. 100 years later and it’s become the biggest flower market in Thailand and that’s saying something!
Flowers come from all over Thailand where they are delivered in the early hours of the morning because this is when it’s coolest and the flowers stay fresh.
You can see the locals making garlands and offerings for the Buddhist temples around Bangkok. You’ll even see monks collecting food and flowers off the local Thai’s as part of the ancient tradition called “Alms Giving”.
It’s pretty cool… get it? Because flowers are pretty and its the coolest part of the day.. if you have to explain a joke, I guess it’s not so funny. 😬 lol
