Wow, I just stumbled upon your video and realized that my family and I are in it. We stayed at the Amari Watergate at the same time you filmed your video and we saw you at the pool and another time at the restaurant during dinner time. I agree 100 percent that the deal was so good. Room, breakfast and dinner and it was so cheap. The Amari upgraded us to a corner suite so that my son could take baths in the bathtub. The room was beautiful!

Great video I subbed because your Mum reminds me of my Mum who died in 1996 at 61 so she is forever that age, with red hair and freckles like your Mum, and the big glasses and big personality. Hi Lilly, I miss Thailand, I was there 2 years ago staying with my son Tony and my Thai daughter in law, Lek and their now 6 year old son Dowpud. They also live in the South near Krabi, I love the resorts in Phuket. After the Covid restrictions are lifted and I feel safe to fly again I will return…. Last time I was in Thailand - 1995, much too long ago - I stayed at the Amari Boulevard, and it was very similar with that beautiful marble everywhere. I do hope to go back when normality returns.

HI Lilly We are from uk . We did the same trip as you but from Chicago to New Orleans on the over night train . We stopped off in Memphis for 2 days . Like you it was not the comfiest ride but a really good experience. We very often come over to Koh Samui , staying near Fisherman's village.

OMG hey gorgeous girl and dear Gigi this is where l stayed when l was in Bangkok at Amari Watergate hotel in Pratunam. It was so lovely, and l ate at the Restaurant that is on the ground floor there of the hotel. Then from there me and my friend Went to Koh Samui Island where the Butterflys were. l forget the name of where l stayed but it was so peaceful and tranquil. Went in a Tuk Tuk and all in Bangkok lol. Was heaps of fun and loved everyone. I am so excited to watch this video.🙏🙏💛💛😍😍🎀🎀🌺🌺

Fantastic deal you had there. Did you book through a website or directly through the hotel? We used to visit Bangkok every year until the pandemic. We have stayed at Anantara Riverside a couple of times, Mandarin Oriental, the Hansar, Siam Kempinski, we LOVED them all particularly Siam Kempinski for its location. You are both adorable and funny! OMG so sad to see all those shops closed. My heart hurts for all those shops owners and their staff :-( Such an amazing opportunity to travel to many domestic destinations within Thailand. Very sad for the businesses and staff that are struggling but once in a life time opportunity to travel with no crowds and amazing deals. We're currently trying to visit as many provinces as we can before the crowds return. You can always find deals in Thailand but even more now. Recently I've been almost embarrassed to pay the bill at some of the hotels we have visited. The rates were so low but the comfort, quality and amazing friendly Thai hospitality we are accustom to in Thailand were all still present. We try to make it up with generous tips to help the staff feed their family. As much as we are enjoying this, we hope things get back to normal for all our amazing Thai friends. We love Thailand!!!

Great video. Watergate is one of my go to hotels when I come to Bangkok - mainly for its large breakfast option. Sad how quiet it is now. Hope it picks up again soon. 🤞
