I was very happy to see that people of India celebrate Hindu culture in Bangkok as well! This is the best video I have seen on your page so far.❤❤

These are Thais not Indians. Thai culture has some basis in Indian culture, for example the writing system is based on Sanskrit and festivals such as that in the video.

Thai script is derived from Tamil pallava script not sanskrit Fyi sanskrit doesn't have script it's an oral language en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thai_script#:~:text=The%20Thai%20script%20is%20derived,Thai%3A%20%E0%B8%9B%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%A7%E0%B8%B0

@@urquhmcthis festival follows the Tamil tradition of celebration not sanskrit. Piercing cheeks carrying firepots and karagam .e balancing a silver vessel on the head for mariamman for rain ,, are all Tamil origin nothing to do with sanskrit

@@rexman9961 the irony is all the vedas were written in sanskrit, it might be a oral language before the discovery of writing system in ancient india , first book for all hindu which is rig veda is alone 1500 bce old or 3521 years old , so you can say that it's alone that much old when ancient civilization of different continents didn't even know to cook raw food . Egyptians used to draw things on walls so does the ancient indians used to do . Stop comparing this north south nonsense here , because thai has some sanskrit mixture as well because thai follows Buddhism and Buddhism got developed in ancient bihar/ magadh , when ashok was spreading Buddhism, he used to speak sanskrit not tamil , whole south east Asian got sanskrit Buddhism , later cholas or so on came spread tamil culture and I respect them too . In the end we all belongs to same culture but our language is different, and for that tradition you saying in navratri, then that type of worship is common in west bengal and bihar you can watch videos on women or men having kalash on their heads etc.
