I went to Bangkok earlier this year and while walking, ran into this massive mall which never existed before. Was amazing, but I don't do malls, so I just strolled and took it all in. I was dumbfounded. Tried to work out who and what produced this monstrosity and how they expected to ever have a return on their investment. It is actually worth walking through.

Don't underestimate the China, Japan & Hong Kong tourist discretionary $$$ > these high end malls which Bangkok has gotta be the Global Capital of Malls are filled with wealthy Asians spending their Yuan & Yen > after all, it's mostly their $$$ being put up that's building these Bohemeths

Morning, Richy! $1 Billion! Hard to fathom the spend on such a structure and how long to get a return. But with £2 apples, maybe sooner than I think 😆 I was thinking you may be rocking a new Adidas cap by now, but still going with the bucket hat ☺️...and then you walked into the Adidas store as well! I wonder what the pink gorilla represents? It would be interesting to know what it does to the foot traffic of Terminal 21 over the road. Two floors in, and it's all about food, and I didn't expect to see a car dealership! I wonder when the car park gets used? Not many people driving - it's a lot of floor space to take up. Hi Greg, somebody has mentioned that the owners of this mall have another two in walking distance. It did seem busy but I think a lot would be people browsing and using the free air con. I am thinking about getting a new cap but my bucket hat has been with me a while now. They are a weird set up the malls with the cars etc but it is nice to see something different other than the same UK ones. Thanks mate, you have a good day too👍🏻

Hi Richie. Would you do a cost of living video please? I'm very frugal like yourself and I, and im sure lots of others, would love to know how much it costs you per month to live there. I'd love to live there but just worry my budget wouldn't be enough. I have a monthly passive income that would allow me to pay for rent, electric, visa, phone, pay my credit card, motorbike rental & fuel, and I'd be left with 1160 THB per day. Would this be enough? I honestly don't know how most of those Mall food stalls survive! Cheap foods and high overheads! Many families visit just for the free air con! Many perfumes are fake! Fun in Thailand?
