44 baht to go to the beach in 4 hours … That’s a winner in my eyes . Hua Hin is very popular with expats and you will see why . Close enough but also far enough from the exciting city of Bangkok. Looking forward to seeing you in the next episode with the night life 💃🏻 . Peace ✌️

Rob I have done this trip so many times before the previous railway station closed. The new one is just too far. I always too the third class carriage and paid B44. Departure time suited me as I would be in Hua Hin by 2.00pm. The return trip is not so good. Always took longer and the train was really packed. Loved all the food vendors jumping on and off.

Rob, from the Bangkok airport what the best/easiest way to get to your inexpensive Bang Sue Train station? nine bucks...I luv it. I will be carrying two suitcases and a backpack. Can you get to the less expensive train without crossing all the tracks? Thanks for any advice. I'll be there on the 26th.

great train ticket price hack. pretty funny you can ‘walk across the tracks’ as they say, and just but a much cheaper ticket for same route. Wonder if fhat’s a temp oversight on their part, and they tweak the price, or maybe just ensuring they still offer a good option to Thailands less well off citizens?

Hey Rob. I've been really enjoying your videos. I plan on heading to Thailand and other areas in SE Asia in August/September for a year or even longer. I want to start a channel and make consistent videos every other day basically. Of all the videos I've watched recently, I like your editing style because it's simple yet effective and nicely done. I'm curious as to what editing program you use and if you use a laptop. Just wondering on what I should use. So many options now. Pretty sure I'm going the go pro 11 route. I've tried other cameras and I like the simplicity of a go pro for getting started at least. I used final cut pro in the past for my Thailand videos I have on my channel now, but looking for something a bit simplified to start this time.

Is it easy to live in Bangkok without a car? What are average utility costs in Regent Homes buildings? I'm currently paying about $1700 USD for my home - mortgage, taxes, and utilities, about 56,000 bhat. Bangkok seems very attractive as far as facilities, rent, and availability of shops and restaurants to make me think about moving. I'm retired on social security, and from what I learned from your videos I could live there very comfortably.
