@@aidjunkie5335 lol, I need explanations about this word: “Gobby.” Is it like “Yob” or “Oh(r)kah” ? Buddy, Amigo, Comrade, my ex-wife would wish she was a street-fighting-brawler when drunk, and want to-try to-use my body to fight on her behalf 🤣 being a 5-foot-tall cute, young, woman, she had NO discernment at !! I literally cried tears of guilt and regret once a few hours after I’d physically defended her (I seriously hurt a male who slapped her, but I found out later that it was a limp-waisted slap that caused no damage to her. I’d just been told: “______ hit her !!” So, what I did wasn’t proportionate at all 😳. After going out to process my feeling un-well about what I’d done, the night ended at “Jack in the Box,” a West-Coast hamburger chain. Some young gang-members were in line ahead of us (after last call, the burger joints get busy) they were a little rowdy (such is the way of things just after last call), and my ex needlessly tried to correct their behaviour. They verbally demonstrated non-compliance, and my five-foot tall, young, [now ex] ex-wife says to the whole place: “y’all ‘d best show respect: my man already kicked someone’s ass for me earlier today, he’ll kick yours too !!” 🤦♀️

Hi Dan, this was a very interesting story and though this guy's moral compass is in the right direction his Thai common sense was not. I recall being in Phuket a couple a years ago and my son and I met a British couple on the roof top pool of our Patong hotel. They were nice enough to share their shade with us and we got talking. The guy was really out of his depth saying that he would not take "shXt" from anyone and would challenge and fight any crap that goes on when he and his wife go out. I advised him that it may be okay in England but pleaded with him to not do that in Thailand and just walk away unless he or his wife were in immediate danger as there will be no winners if the police got involved. I gave him a few examples of this where if he was even in the right there would probably be bad consequences for him. He seemed to understand and said he would be more careful. Then he told me that he and his wife had just bought a time share condo in Patong! I said "mate, don't pay them and run!" then gave him the reasons why. He advised that he had already paid a deposit but believed he could get it refunded and would immediately seek that refund. Later that day I caught up with them in the foyer and asked did he have any luck with his deposit refund. He said, "you were right and they are refusing to refund me now after they previously promised a full refund if required and a cooling off period". Thailand is a great place but you need to have your wits about you all the time and don't trust everyone including other farangs.

When I meet people like this guy I just run. They aren't worth it and will always find themselves in these situations. One rule in Thailand is don't get involved in other peoples business. That is the beauty of thailand people just do what they want and leave you alone. Even if the guy is beating the crap out of his wife in the middle of the street just let it be otherwise you will be involved in Thai Drama. She has a choice to leave him and if she doesn't that is on her. Yes I live in Thailand. I think that is what intrigues people the most when they see an accident of something happen most thai people just stand around and watch. There is a reason for that. If they get involved they get involved with the Drama. While they love Drama here they don't want to be a part of it!

Assuming any of this is even true? Some people just shouldn’t travel. And this guy sounds like anywhere he goes drama and tragedy will follow. The first rookie mistake people make when they come here is thinking that the same rules/culture apply. As if they are in their home country. THEY DO NOT!!! And the 7 or 8 words they speak in Thai isn’t going to save them. It all goes back to a basic rule. Never get involved with these people! It’s how he got in this mess 15 years ago. I remember hearing that story and it sounded like the typical, "You are the father” scam. Lots of things are being left out of this "story” although I really liked the insult, he gave to the Russian about being a traitor!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I hope I’m able to use that one someday.

I'm curious to know what you think I have left out?
@L-Nino Жыл бұрын
@@Mashtaggreeny i’ve had a career conducting interviews and interrogations. I can’t interview you in person so there’s no way to know what’s true. But during an interrogation when you find something off or hard to believe you hone in on it. And usually that one small thread opens up a whole new truth or untruth. And when in person, body language tells you volumes about the person. But for example; when you were talking about the Russian you fought. You said he was intoxicated to the point that you were able to push him over with relative ease. If that was the case? Then how did you end up on the ground? You also said you were face to face with him on the ground? So how is he punching you in the back? Just small things like that. And whatever your answer would be, I’d ask you questions about that and have you explain in detail. And eventually it would lead to more questions than answers. This type of questioning takes time, and I know it took you time to write what you wrote. So it’s unfair for me to expect your story to make total sense. But it just seems there were some holes. But usually the small inconsistencies lead to other more obvious flaws in a story.

I do think the Cannabis is hitting his judgement up the wrong tree as to how he goes about his Bangkok affairs. How Mike and Max can bond together is a sea of uncertainty as they worships different ideologies with dope, prostitutes, mama San vs Buddhist novus monk. Well somehow it came to a happy ending Mike getting his Passport back and some of the money as well and great that he reunited with his son Max. What the future will hold for them will eventually only be told in the crystal Ball. Not a good idea to build family with Thai Narssasistic Bar girls as many of this stories comes a live in Thai Talks. Better be prepared to pull out the pack of Condoms and not get any long term relationship with any girl's of the night as they all ends the same way. Perhaps Mike need to stay in the temple and rehabilitate his inner spirit with finding his lost souls before Black Magic engulfs him further. Lost the will to live half way through..Can't believe someone would write in so much detail to a stranger on you tube or how long it would take to do it ! It takes all sorts i suppose.
