@@harryviking6347 Thanks for your comment. We are all different and like different things/places. I will be and am visiting other interesting places. Khao San Road has always been busy whilst I have stayed there. 🙂🙂🙂

I am about your age and also stay near KSR(Rambutri ) .It is far cheaper and more pleasant than Lr.Sukhumvit where a lot of Westerners stay . There are no HOs in your face .

25 yrs ago was a great area, the road that runs parallel with it, was a food paradise, now not.

@@stevejohnson2130 That's a shame, I hadn't visited Bangkok 25 years ago. I think Khao San Road is a good base for exploring Bangkok. 🙂🙂
