No. Its completely seperate. Hand luggage stays with you. The checked-in 40kg goes underneath the plane. Your 25 + 22 is already over so they will charge you for the extra weight

Wsalam. Hand luggage has to fit certain measurements. It’s either hand luggage or backpack. One piece each.

Iv got 2 adults plus 3 kids(5 seats) and 1 infant going..iv packed a few suitcases already and they are coming up between 20kg and 25kg each

@@parbesali1986 Wsalam.. Yes you can. The most one suitcase can weigh is 30kg. If you have a group of you, like we did, you can share the weight allowance. Just make sure one suitcase IS NOT over 30kg. And yes XL suitcase is allowed. Size didnt matter for us. We had 2 massive suitcases and even took a big box with a swimming pool in LOL

Yo bro, Imma thinking something, Can I bring a completely safe small portable power station in Biman Bangladesh flight? They don't have any specific guidelines regarding lithium iron batteries, Also Bangladesh Customs states that you can bring a computer with "UPS" facility, so can I tag it as computer ups and just slide it through the checked baggage? I never tried these before and won't contact the authorities involved as they'll clearly deny and be cautious about this but just wanna know even if they deny at the airport will I be atleast be able to take the device out my bag and give it to my relative waiting outside?

I took a power bank, 3 batteries for a drone, 3 batteries for a camera and 1 battery for a GoPro, so i was FULLY loaded with lithium batteries 😂. We are NOT allowed them in checked in luggage, ONLY HAND luggage. We flew out from Manchester. Once we got to security, I put all batteries, including my Macbook in one tray and there was NO issues. When you get to Bangladesh, you dont have to go through security checks again. One thing to bear in mind... Last year, i came on my own. When returning back to UK, the security at Bangladesh airport starting being awkward about my amount of batteries but i said the airline and my UK airport allowed it so they let me off. So if you have anyone else travelling with you, just spread the batteries amongst you guys. Regarding your computer question, I'm not too sure to be honest so cant really comment. Hope this helps. Bro, iam travelling on biman to bangladesh soon, I have a 10 months old baby, I wanted to ask, if I can't get a baby cot seat, does my wife have to carry the baby on her lap all the way, and also what happens to the pushchair, do biman staff put it away somewhere when boarding and give it back when we land. ? If you can please share some experience. Thanks

Cot seats are hard to reserve. My advice for that is ring the airline and tell them you need the cot etc. Its hard to get through to them on main line so what we did is got the managers number off Biman website then he was able to help us. If not then yes, you will have to have baby on lap which will be a nightmare! We heard loads of babies crying man it was so hard for them. And the push chair, theyll ask you at the check-in if you want to send it off or use it until you get to the boarding. Then theyll take it from you before you get on the plane and once you land you collect if from baggage with your suitcases. Hope this helps

You mean into one handbag? As long as the other person is with you and the bag fits into the overhead cabin then you should be ok

Wsalam. This i dont think they will allow because they calculate dimensions for carry on bags in comparison the check in which you can take any size. But thats my opinion. If you want to double check, contact airline and ask.
