We are headed to an amazingly colourful place, where artistic strokes of Bangladeshi Alpona designs decorate the walls complimenting the Pata Chitra Kala of West Bengal.
An experience presented to the eyes and hearts served with a soulful feast of East and West Bengal Cuisine is to die for!
And to top this up, in this vlog, today we have two very special people, 'Vlogger' by profession and a "couple" by Relation: Rahul & Kajori who introduced us to this incredible place called, "Himur Heshel." Run by Sutapa Barua, who hails from Bangladesh has translated her dreams into reality through this boutique restaurant inspiring us all to never stop pursuing our dreams.
As Rahul, Kajori and I sat down to taste the platter of authenticity waiting to be served, little did we know that this would turn into a mouthwatering Mukbang. From Gondhoraj Ghol, Dhakai Morog Polau, Mutton Kala Bhuna, Mangsher Chop, Gondhoraj Chingri, Dhakai Chicken Pakora and many more delicious delicacies served one after the other till we couldn't have more.

My father was born in Syleth (foodies) migrated to India in 1947. Mother was born in Chandpur (East Bengal) famous for Papda and Elish. Live it up ! Bona Petite !

The trauma of the partition was such that they did not have interest in revisiting. Instead, they visited Shillong where my father grew up after partition. His childhood friends were not there but the memories were good to revive.
