Shiki, I’ll be 73 in September…fell down the rabbit hole 12/31/2016. I love music in all genres; but since the pandemic I listened to the boys to where I listened to Spotify all day and watched all their content several times. I have never been to a concert and never until this song have I cried my eyes out feeling like I had a friend that loved me so unconditionally and I never realized it. I know how big my love to them has been like the one you have for your child. 7 more children whom I’ve never met. Yes. Be Yourself! Learn how to cry. It's an important skill to learn how to do without shame. Actually crying is healing. Holding it in is actually harmful to your mental health! If BTS can cry on front if tens and thousands...you can too. I've had great therapy. One beautiful thing I was taught...if you're going to cry...cry at 100%. So I do. I get it all out each time. Also, you Never Never have to apologize to us...about crying or anything. You are where you need to be in life. Don't register yourself as strong or weak. You just are. You are experiencing real life. And real life IS a roller coaster!! Plus, we only learn amazing survival life skills when are challenged with life's struggles. Be like Jin. No matter what you are going through...look yourself in the mirror and love yourself and don't be hard on yourself. Being in BTS changed Jin. You Being in army has changed you! I heard when they performed this on KBS, they did it in 3 pc suits and stand up mics....like the Temptations or Four Tops. In other words, like an old fashioned love song.....I absolutely love it!!!! I'm sure ARMYs everywhere were crying and swooning at this one!!! What a gift to us! I'm so happy that you found the door to the Magic Shop and found a safe place to be. BTS seems to always find someone when they need them. It's strange how 7 people, who don't know you, can have such an effect on your life. Songs like this is what made me a fan. When people tell me when they say I love you, they mean I love your money, but they couldn't be more wrong. You obviously need fans to survive but you can tell they don't view fans as cash cows but genuinely care for them through their words but also actions. RM and Jimin literally got down on their hands and knees to bow at a PTD concert to thank the fans. Jimin always tells fans to dress warmingly and get home safely, there are tweets like this since 2013, and they all did it recently for their PTD in Seoul shows. JK went through a crowd to thank a handicapped fan for coming out to their show. The personal and sometimes free songs are a personal gift to us as well. They have Festa every year to offer free content and the dinners/talk are always special/personal. Like you said, who does this? I've been putting together a Proof scrapbook of photos, tweets, speeches, awards, etc. and from present to pre-debut they haven't changed with how they treat their fans. The short snapshots and the respect and sincerity has been there since day 1. How BTS treat people and their message is a big reason why they are popular. I hope they know how important they are to some people. For Youth was my favorite of the new songs.

I understand completely. I have had a similar experience of year by year losing a piece of myself until I became only a shell of the joyful woman I used to be. I didn’t believe that I was a worthy person because I always “disappointed” my ex husband. My health struggles have been massive over the past few years, yet the lowest point came when I realized that I had very little hope for the dreams of my youth to ever come to fruition. Then BTS entered my life. Their personalities that I got to know so well from watching Run BTS episodes (and your fun reactions Shiki) encouraged me by bringing laughter back into my life to pierce the darkness of my depression. The lyrics of their song Yet to Come moved me to a massive amount of tears because I was encouraged to remember my dreams again. I try to explain to my friends and family how much they mean to me, but they don’t understand as they are not interested in getting to know BTS better. I will be forever grateful to these 7 incredibly talented, funny, kind, hard working, and humble young men. Their love of music translates into beautiful songs with moving lyrics, and also upbeat songs that energize, inspire, and motivate me to remember the dreams of my youth and pursue them.

Aaaw Shiki, you are so touched. Like all other Army's. I could've never imagined the impact BTS would make in my life when my daughter-army introduced them to me. It was, as it's supposed to be, just at the right time. It was not long after my mom had passed away, and I was to take care of my lonely dad. But I am also a caretaker for my proffesion, and I take care of my kids and family ofcourse. 3 months later my grandmother died too, and a year later my mother-in-law, my uncle and my neighbour all passed away. I kindof felt numb, and just went on and on, without feeling happiness. And sort of feeling like there was very few people left to look after mé, being now the eldest of the family-women before even turning 50. And then, came BTS, I just started with a few songs, it was around Boy with love/ON and starting the pandemic... so Dynamite was about to come out. I am so glad my daughter showed me who they are. We started sharing songs, watch Run BTS together and goof over all the memes and enormous content online. I just fell in love with these 7 young guys and their music, but also their message. And I was proud my girl made such a great choice in picking rolemodels. BTS made my life lighter again. We sincerely hope to ever be able to see them in concert. Yesterday I got my daughter the Proof album. She was over the moon. Thanks Shiki for your sincere reactions.

I am not sure any army could listen to this without being in tears. It is so beautiful and heartfelt. Joy and sadness intertwined somehow. It feels like a very personal song - a letter to each and every one of us - hand delivered personally by them. May I also say to you that I love sharing BTS with you on your channel. I absolutely agree that it is so impossible to explain to someone on the outside what it feels like to be part of their journey… to be a part of this fandom.. a part of this family.. bc it’s only something you can understand when you’re in it. I may not know every piece of what you’re going through and dealt with in the past 14 months.. or in general… but I can tell you that you are VERY loved. You are not weak Shiki. It takes courage to do what you are doing. And it's ok to cry. BTS does that to us. Overwhelming us with so much love. I heard someone in one of the videos say, how can these men, who don't even know I exist, make me feel so loved😭. The flood gates opened since the CB and it has not stopped. It's been 9 months since BTS found me. Sad, lonely and depressed. And to feel like a part of this big family. It's unreal 😪. Thank you for being so open with us. I dont comment often, but I'm here when I can and laugh with u, cry with you and enjoy BTS 💜💜💜 borahe Shiki.
