Josephines carers should work to convince her she doesn't need EMS. Im sure they do, but its so hard because people that truly need it aren't getting the care they need.

Interesting, in nursing school as a registered nurse, we were never taught to complain about our patients( the UK people are very patient and kind in person, though~or blame them for their symptoms. We were taught to establish a rapport, and to give certain instructions on how to help ( breath in a paper bag…) and not to explain how they’re hurting themselves by breathing too fast. For some reason it seems like all over the world, that pain is being ignored. It would be nice if there would be social workers that work night shift and public health nurses too.

This is heartbreaking. I never knew the emergency services were this slammed there. I have a question, if anyone can answer, instead of so many ppl waiting for the ambulance to arrive can they not drive to the hospital if they have someone to take them? I’m just curious, no disrespect.

Of course they could. In my opinion, these people who constantly call 999 without having a medical emergency should be charged for every single call and call-out. There are so many people who overload the health system to such an extent that other people have to die miserably because the rescuers can't get there in time. That is absolutely incomprehensible to me!

As in most countries, the elderly are the biggest population. In 10 or so years it won’t be that way! Now many countries are worried about not having enough citizens to keep the wealthy corporations up in 10 years. The middle classes will continue to be siphoned by the rich. But it is nice The NHS is in place in your country.

No wonder it takes 12 hours to go to somebody that needs an ambulance, when they are Making sandwiches For patients And Visiting And dancing With Josephine After going to her home 10 times a day😢😢 Leon and Josephine need to be charged every time they disperse an ambulance to their residence. All this making of sandwiches and tea for everyone that doesn't really need an ambulance , they are making patients wait 12 hours for help. Absolutely absurd😢😢😢😢

hi! @@Texasishot105 i have friends who have unfortunately ended in mental health wards (as far as i know they don't call them asylums anymore !) and i have heard it's quite a horrific experience for most of them. I think there's a lot of work yet to be done when it comes to helping people with mental health care, most of them prefer to deal with it on their own rather than end up in a ward.

And to answer your question, from a US perspective, the psych units that exist are often very understaffed, overcrowded, and poorly equipped. I’ve been in a psych ward 3 times, each of which left me feeling worse than I did before because of other patients, abusive doctors, and being treated like a criminal. I was in an ocd spiral that was so severe I needed a feeding tube because I couldn’t eat. The psych ward forcefully removed the tube and wouldn’t give me my psych meds. I get that you’re optimistic about mental healthcare, but truly, some places treat us similarly to how people in asylums were treated. I firmly believe that my “doctors” in those hospitals would’ve lobotomized me and everyone else in there if it wasn’t illegal.

Because what she took was absolutely fine and not going cause her immediate problems. Idk why them telling her that is weird, no reason to not tell her that and cause her to have unnecessary anxiety over it
