Jen is such a sweetie. I feel sorry for the staff on this shift. Multiple serious patients, Jamie being an A.hole, and silly little girls. I'd be mortified if any of these entitled little princesses were my daughter.

40:00 if I was the staff woman here, I wouldn’t have been able to keep from turning around and just saying, “look, we have five patients who have been brutally attacked and are dying, we are short staffed, and all our nurses and doctors are trying to save the lives of critically ill people. Sign the AMA form, or be patient and get out of my face.”

Watching this series has really made me realize how little respect I have for most drunks. They truly care about no one but themselves. If you end up in the emergency room because of a "typical night on the town" like these entitled people, you need to seriously reevaluate things and maybe drink responsibly in the future.

I am glad they limit the people that can come into the Emergency Room with a patient in the U.S. That was a huge detriment to the working staff at Kings Hospital A&E to have so many non-essential people milling about. It has to affect the medical staff and hurt the patient.

18:00 I can't understand people who drink themselves until they need help. I feel sick as a dog long before that point and pace myself. I don't get the "drink yourself blind" mentality. 24:07 Speaking of entitlement, what the hell kind of mentality is where you are ready to stab someone because you didn't get into a birthday party? Wtf is wrong with them? 24:43 Yes, tv and movies never ever show the aftermath of violence. The people traumatized and crippled for life over a split second act. 31:34 Good lord, she is a university student? She appears to have had brain damage before the fall. 38:34 Kick the idiots out. She has a tiny cut on her head and is harassing the staff, meanwhile they are dealing with two sword stabbing victims.

We used to have a saying that how girls behaved you could tell where they were raised. Sometimes it is so true. If I was out all night like this, coming home at the wee hours of the morning, I would be seriously talk to by my parents as to whether I wanted to continue living in their house. And I’d have to figure out if that night of drunkenness was worth getting kicked out of the house for? The answer, no it’s not. They were obviously raised with no respect for anybody and they weren’t raised knowing how you treat other people. It doesn’t show a very good light on their parent’s parenting skills. I always thought they should teach teenage girls how to behave and want to watch out for. As an example either wait and finish your drink then go to the bathroom or if you really have to go then just leave your drink there and order a new one when you get back. Back in 1953 someone did it to my mom. She went to the bathroom and someone put something in her drink. But I think she said she thought it was more liquor to make the drink more potent. She never passed out, but she did feel totally drunk and she said she only had two drinks in a four hour space of time and it happened with the last drink. She thinks they did it because it was her bachelorette night out. She told us girls the rules of when you go out drinking and we always did exactly what she said, and none of us ever had anything slipped in our drink, but we would never had known this if it wasn’t for my mom‘s experience. Now the family that had the stabbing at their family party, I mean that’s pretty crazy and that’s why they’re saying now that if you have a party have a low-key party because there’s jerks out there that will bust down your door to get in there to party with you, but their kind of partying you don’t want. Yes having smoke machines and lights and music going and all that kind of stuff is fun, but it attracts goons like this that will come in and start stabbing people and getting into fights with people. Hoodlums(Def.: a violent criminal or troublemaker; a hooligan.) is what we called them. That’s the perfect definition of what these people are that go to these parties and break into them. Jen, once again you showed what a trooper you are and the power of strength that you hold, because to hold down the A&E the way you did was unbelievable. You have my total respect and admiration. ☺️

The gun violence in the US generally involves personal relationships. Not so much someone randomly pulling out a gun and just shooting someone. The knife violence in London seems much more aimless and simply generalized anger against society. In Catherines case, putting up with someones belligerence is just a waste of time. The female filling in on her characteristics such as exaggerations, stubborness etc being the norm is enough to give way to skipping the niceties and taking blood for alcohol content and if warranted such as history given, that she had had the intention of drug use. Giving a dose or two of narcon in case there were opiates on board, including possibly the unintentional presence of fentanyl, the narcon will take care of that without harming the patient. Being thoughtful and courteous to her go out the window when she wont try.

Those young ladies are now fully aware that they are online for life! Oops! I'm not so sure the girls will think their behavior was cute or funny! They were young and we all make mistakes, don't we?
