What you guys need in Canada and the UK are what we have here in the States called Urgent Care. They are the step down from ER's (A&E). The ones all by my house can do x-rays, labwork, prescribe medications. They try to take the stress off of ER's. Much faster too!

We do have something like that here in Canada. I'll take our system as I can go for medical help without worrying if it's going to bankrupt me.

They need to do a show about what gets cleaned between patients. Like toys, chairs, walls. And how often do they sanitize the curtains between beds? Info we all need
@karensamuels390 Жыл бұрын
I suspect none of them get more than a cursory swipe. The curtains stay up for months on end. In fact, in my entire career on my unit, I never once saw the curtains removed for cleaning. Pretty gross, and its no wonder nosocomial infections are rampant.

The narrator sounded a bit like Gary Barlow, would you say? I went in to have a stent put in my two arteries, but because I’m a type one diabetic for 53 years he said my veins wouldn’t be able to handle having the stents put in. So I’m on shots once a week to build up my red blood cell production in my bone marrow and on August 15 is my surgery date. I’m scared now and I don’t know how I’m going to be getting closer to that date. I don’t want the surgery, but I can’t live with the way. My arteries are right now. I’m having a double bypass open heart surgery.🥺🥺

Shirley has a blocked artery and needs a stent replaced, but had to wait to have it done? Her current stent is obviously failing because she's been having chest pains. Blocked arteries can lead to heart attacks? How long do you people have to wait for treatment we in America have done almost immediately? I've heard of people waiting months to have bi-pass surgery. If this is the great panacea called "socialized medicine", you can keep it.
