Been watching Ian since the air-pressure-and-propane-heater bubble-top car days. The processes he uses are kinda alarming to me-but the results are always jaw-dropping

Does anyone have a tip for me where I can find videos that really show step by step exactly how to build / convert a custom car? I'm not interested in constant close-ups of faces, dogs playing, or endless chatter. What I'm looking for are real instructions for converting chassis, redesigning the interior with leather and individual instruments; HiFi, etc. It's really hard to find these days. Anyone have any ideas... ?

I don’t think you’re going to find exactly what you’re looking for. Instead, try small channels with relatively few views for each aspect( I find they’re often less likely to do stuff to feed the algorithm). In my former career rebuilding pianos, I had the same problem (this was 20 years ago, so very few videos!). I bought used books on woodworking, leather work, and on working felt, as well as everything I could find on old pianos. Tried stuff, learned what worked for me, and slowly got more ambitious. Anyone who has mastered their craft will have their own way of doing stuff-and that might not work for you. I’ve been working on cars with my bil for ~30 years now, and we can look at something needing support together-and each of us will fabricate a different solution. Maybe buy an old go kart, modify the chassis, then make a seat for it out of leather. Remember there was a reason for the old system-and it took 7 years or so to become a journeyman. You can do it-just take small bites at first. Best of luck!

Just found Ian’s actual channel: Full Custom Ian. There’s way more in-depth stuff on it that would be cut for a TV production

Should tilt the middle gauge to the driver. Alá Alfa Romeo sports cars of the 70s. Full lexan rear panel, not only bullet proof and would add rigdiiry to the car also. Lol I really live the 49 -- 51 mercury rag top or coupé, but if l could I'd prefer a coupé in the deepest gloss black with ghost flames and fireballs down the sides. That would be a ciol custom paint job on a high roof, get it painted like a loaf of bread , and get it spo sored by a bread company. And 1 comes to mind gere in the UK, and thats Warburton's.

The rear fender fins would look better swept up without the humped bit in the middle of the sweept up fins...better with a smooth transition from the bodyline into the upturned fins

Inside the back it needs a waterfall with two drinking spots like mini pond style permanent dog dishes. 2qt.or 1/2gal each. Other than the drinking area needs to be like a dog bed upholstery matching the paint scheme and don't sell it👍👍👍👍
