funny how shakespeare is defended and that the quote "my kingdom for a horse" was misread during the centuries. i understand that from a british point of view, as he is your most famous and important writer. from an neutral point of view from someone outside of britain, i have to remind you for whom shakespeare was writing propaganda. it was the tudor dynasty. so it's fair to say he was one of the worst fakers of history too.

Okay turning off. The princes were not under lock and key. They were living in the Royal Apartments in the Tower. Richard was elected by the Commons to be king. He didn't usurp it. And to be honest, he was too busy to really worry about the princes. in the two years he was on the throne, he went on a Royal Progression, he quelled a rebellion, suffered with the death of his wife and then his son. Then Henry Tudor arrived.
