Fascinating doc. Heartfelt and warm. I hope they auctioned the beautiful tile, stained glass and ornamental pieces that are exquisite.

UK used to be a very magical place. Today is more like any other. Glass, metal and concrete with dissapearing attention to detail and craftmanship of very skilled people.

when was this? the days of child labor? the days when men worked until they were in their 60s and died before they could enjoy retirement? when diseases like cancer were a death sentence for just about anyone? i really can't think of a magical time in the past, not for the UK or any country.

@@perfectallycromulent This was everywhere else too. I meant this about architecture. Look at the railings for example. Where you can see these in these days. In these days they give you a concrete slab or lazy pole with a glass table and tell you it is a railing.

That building belongs to the people of Manchester and they were given a grant to do that building up and look what he said luxury flats and offices
