I love that there is still hidden buildings that have been left and closed! That nothing much has been changed since that time!

What a lovely building. With all those eras there should be each room dedicated to those different eras

Just 1:11 minutes in, and already there's a huge mistake from the researchers, which explains the weird on-screen title. It is physically impossible to *"step inside the People's Palace"* as it was demolished in 1964. The *People's Palace* (1894-1899) was previously known as the *Star Theatre & Music Hall* (opened 1875), and was known as the *Palace Theatre* from 1899 until it closed in 1938. The *Prince's Theatre* opened next door to the Star Theatre in 1876, remained open until 1961. Both theatres were demolished a few years later in 1964, where the *National Science and Media Museum* stands today.

Media Museum. Science+ is the "chain" of museums. Anyone using the title Science and Media Museum, including the websites and MSM are just wrong. It's also garbage. 'The National Museum of Photography, Film and Television' should have been left alone and not "updated".

I wouldn't let yourself to get too impressed with nostalgia as I wouldn't bet against the once iconic building being, I shudder to say it, a gigantic new mosque. It's certainly in a culturally enriched former English city. His lamb, the gift that just keeps giving, isn't that enriching, eh?

The building has been restored as a live performance venue now, but I’m not sure if it’s open yet, and I don’t know how much of the original decoration has survived. There was a cinema in the east end of London, I forget exactly where, which was built in the style of a mosque. After it closed it had other uses, and eventually became - a Mosque. Seems rather Approach somehow.
