To me Rien Shroud is the perfect example of The Unchosen One mixed with Protagonist Journey to Be The Hero,He has the Tragic Backstory and Kind and Honest Nature that has other believe he is genuinely Pure Hearted Person and also just because he a nice guy and gentlemen does not mean he will not hand a fade out to Assholes and Villains also this man Scored a Harem without even trying and it all because these girls genuinely fell for rein because despite his hardship and being betrayed/Fired by the "Hero" Party he still want to continue his life as A Beast Taming Adventurer and I time is willing to step up and face the Demon King if need be or aid anyone in danger

@@anonymousvids2146 Oh, he wasn't the real hero. The real hero comes from a bloodline, Rin isn't from that bloodline. His strenght might surpass the hero at the moment, but the hero, given enought time, could wipe the floor with him. The thing is, the hero is a dead beat without any honor or patience and won't even try to improve himself the right way while Rin get more strenght by being a great person, really caring about others and befriending incredible people. He doesn't care about their races or anything, he care about them, something the heroe's party in it's totality would be unable to do, which really hold them back a lot.

Yeah, that’s almost always something that comes with being a main character. Of course, we could always attribute it to dumb luck if we wanted to. Personally, I would advise against relying on luck. It’s an unreliable resource. You never know when it’s going to work for you or against you.

This reminds me of another anime with a premise similar to this called “Chillin’ In My 30’s After Getting Fired From The Demon King’s Army” Both Raine and Dariel, the protagonist of the other anime, were fired by idiotic superiors who didn’t realize that they were actually very important. Dariel was in the army as an Assistant, meaning he helps out wherever he can and gathers useful intel, and once he was fired, nobody was competent enough to replace him. Also I love how many jokes there are here LOL 😂 It’s so nice to finally find a recap guy that isn’t a bot 😊

I always despised the stigma behind support characters and many's perception of them being the "bottom of the barrel" or "useless" simply because they don't engage in frontline combat. Backline support is just as important, if not arguably more, than frontline combat. There's a reason why the saying "tactics win battles, but logistics win wars" is a thing: the frontline soldier may be the one shooting and killing the enemy with their rifle, but it's the factories back at home producing the guns, ammunition, food, uniforms, etc and the supply lines safely making it to the frontlines via supply convoys that allows the soldier to fight.

So, anyone who's watched this...why was the Hero's party unaware what a special Tamer Rin was? Like, if they thought Taming magic ITSELF was weak, that's one thing, but this sounds like they just didn't like him, but seemingly were unaware of how special he was...sounds like middle management when IT needs to prove its worth so they fire a rockstar programmer to hire some college grads, only to realize they need a dozen to match that one guy, if they even can.

This is my theory, but I think they wanted another warrior (i.e. another blunt instrument in the form of a human) on the team. Since he didn't prioritize his fighting ability over his craft as a beast tamer, they didn't respect him. However, they didn't realize how well he fit on the team until he was gone. It seemed to me that they constantly criticized his abilities in a fight. Granted, until his contract with Kanade, he wasn't very strong, but now, he's probably one of the strongest individuals in his universe especially after contracting with Nina.

Okay, took time to watch this one, since I was curious. The Dwarf was at fault because he sold inferior quality items, claiming they were legendary quality. Those adventurers were not just blowing smoke, they lost friends thanks to the lies they'd been told, and the fact that they forgave him after it all is kind of big of them, since this was ALL his fault at the end of the day, including the monsters and people injured by our hero.
