In future playthroughs, stone houses consume less fuel for heating. More firewood means you can trade for more stone to build even more stone houses.

Can't even use trade ports until 300 population for the isolationist achievement, which also must be done without a school for the uneducated achievement. It's brutal because uneducated workers are less productive at everything. On top of that, you can't even build crop fields, orchards or pastures until 400 citizens. You have to rely on fishing, hunting and gathering for the one with nature achievement. At least after 300, you can finally build trade ports and start trading for food with firewood. You can use firewood for trading of all goods including more logs to make more firewood. On a small mountainous map, it's very difficult to produce enough food with so little land available so you have to trade for it which means relying on the traders to bring food and so you need as many trade ports as possible to increase the chances that food will come each year. I had dry spells on some ports where they just kept bringing seeds, livestock or industry stuff for maybe 5 or 6 boats and that's a long time when your low on food. So by spamming trade ports on every possible river location, you are way better off. I've done 3 rounds of this all-in-one challenge and it's brutal and time consuming. You are constantly micro managing everything from the get go with some long waiting in between certain achievements, which is why he wanted the speed increase. I used the modkit version of banished that has faster speeds built in instead of the 3rd party mod.

registry... hkey_current_user\software\shining rock software llc\banished Delete all values listed as "Ach?"

You can also use SAM (Steam Achievement Manager) to reset them without modifying the registry. It's freeware and open source.
