This runs great on the surface laptop 3 i7. I actually played Outlanders which is pretty much this game with scenarios on Apple Arcade until I was told this existed.

Can't be much worse than the old one I used to run this game on. That one was probably close to a decade old. It was so awful that it just sort of laid down and died last year. Lol. It took forever to load with the Mega Mod, but okay once actually in the game. It could barely run Anno 1404 once you had multiple settlements and it straight up refused to run Anno 1800. I had 1800 in my library for about a year before I could actually play it.

@@mitmatgames604 You mean an Acer? I'm not overly familiar with how brands stack up against each other. Pretty sure the old one was a lower-mid range HP that I bought through school. When I had to replace it I just told the guy at the computer store what I wanted to use it for and he showed me the two that were within my budget. But 16 years? That's pretty impressive. Whether is a good impressive or a bad impressive is up to you. What happened? Age just catch up with it?

@@Nivarias yes... pretty much includes everything - which is why my computer doesn't like it. Playing megamod on my computer the challenge becomes how long can I play until it crashes. Which is why I don't play it. Colonial Charter or red Ketchup's mod are ok on my computer.

@@Nivarias might give it another try. I do want to mention something from CC that I use early game and I rarely see any one else use. For Forester you can choose what trees you replant and I tend to set it up so they are replanting Fruit Trees to get a food source from that. Especially useful if you have a start without seeds for Orchards.

Weiter als 6000 Einwohner bin ich selten gekommen. Wichtig ist, die Wirkungskreise von Forester, Gatherer etc nicht voll zu bauen oder in den Stadtbereich herein reichen zu lassen. Ein Fischer am ende eines, kurzen , Steg ( damit der Einflusskreis viel vom Wasser deckt) , Haus für Fischer und kleines Lager direkt an Land , bringt viel Nahrung. Es gibt einen kleinen Schmied, der nur rohes Ore und Holz braucht für Werkzeug. Am Anfang ist einfach zu wenig Personal für eine komplette Schmiede da.

Just curious, why did you put the forester 's lodge and other buildings so close to the village? Wouldn't they benefit more if they were way out in the forest becouse the entire village is gonna end up in their work range and take away the space for forestry? Also wouldn't they plant trees in the village making it painful to build anything?

In the beginning your resources are really low. You don't want production buildings to be too far away because of walk distances. Already had games failed because distances were too long so I want to play it safe!

Yeah food or firewood in an exceptionally cold winter are the major problems early on. Generation gap or a booming population lead to other problems midgame. It's amazing :D

At least I would trust the creator more than a person in the comments linking a virus filled Russian bomb link.
