Hey Scykoh, I have an interesting vehicle design for when you get the end-game parts. It's all super parts, and it's a bike. It goes wheel, engine, fuel, seat, fuel, engine, wheel, but attached to the front wheel and engine is a pair of backwards facing folding wings, and on the back wheel and engine is a paid of forward-facing folding wings. If you get some speed and open them, you hop. If you attach gyroscopes, things can get quite interesting. And fast.

For LOG's Choice missions, maybe they wanted to encourage the player to make better vehicles than the ones given with limited parts? That might also be why they leave a spare part here and there at the beginnings of missions, to push players towards creative designing.

When I did the mission with Bottles laptop I modified the vehicle and didn't realize it had springs so I basically used a small trolley vehicle and had to drive up all the random ramps to get up there. Still somehow got the trophy.
