I remember that commercial for Banjo-Tooie like it was yesterday, 24 years ago. Someone in a Banjo suit was on an airplane going skydiving, but the people were warning Banjo to take a parachute, but Banjo insists that Kazooie will be his parachute. But the funny thing was, she went AWOL and was elsewhere, chilling out relaxing while Banjo plummeted to the ground nearby.

7:32 When it comes to using the elements for attacks, there’s always gotta be a question for “Why use this when my previous method worked just fine?”. In a game where most of the enemies go down in one hit, you know this is mostly for a puzzle of some sort. 14:16 …This is the 1%-chance reward from Madame Grunty? A hint system we’ve seen given for free in 3D Mario games? …Well, for a game this expansive, it might be worth it. Even Super Mario Odyssey’s hints are useful enough.
