I can physically only secure one finger on the drum head. If I put two fingers on the drum head, I cant control the middle finger as it just follows the index finger,. Any folks just use one finger on drum head for a similar reason and does it limit your playing using only one finger to anchor? If it is limiting, any tips?

I only use one, and that's fine! Alan only uses his ring finger.

@@BanjoBen Thanks for your reply. Oh.Wow- I didnt realise yourself and Alan only use one. I was getting hung up on this for a few years (even made a contraption to help stabilsing my anchor finger!!) That is reassuring. I will keep to one finger as anchor and work of my accuracy. Have to get myself a 5 string now as I sold it a while back as felt was not making progress re my explantion!!
