thank yyou so much sir i really appreciate your teaching i think you are the best out their sir.am having a little problem with a/c payable a/c recieveable .what is the name of the a/c called when the transaction say recieve cash of 250 from paying of the rent.so after the rent was paid i recieve 250 because i over pay .some please help me i dont think it is cash and rent am at the ledger stage.

Thank you for the comment. You would debit Cash and credit Rent Received account. Remember the rent received is a revenue account similar to the sales account which should be credited.
