I am that guy at the beginning of his story, I'm just about to get my house valued and do a buy to let. I have been renting out 2 rooms of the property I live for years and have a bit of experience filling the rooms. And I got tickets for one of Samuels events in a months time. It depends on the lender. Speak to a good broker as some lenders will let you re-finance earlier

Watched a few of these but I call bullshit. First attempt and he adds that value from £5k! Hahaha I don’t think so! You don’t add that much value from just a new kitchen and bathroom unless he is a plumber, electrician, plasterer, carpet fitter etc. also, you can’t pull your money out until you remortgage unless you buy cash and he didn’t. Sounds more like he is telling a story rather than fact based approached.
