Banking collapse is ‘political decision’; all big banks will own Bitcoin - Michael Saylor (Pt. 1/3)

In part 1 of this three-part interview, Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of MicroStrategy, claims that Bitcoin's credibility has improved over the past year in the midst of crypto collapses and bank failures. He told Michelle Makori, Lead Anchor and Editor-in-Chief at Kitco News, that banks, nonprofits, and governments will eventually own Bitcoin. Claiming that he is a 'Bitcoin realist,' Saylor also discussed Bitcoin's role as an inflation hedge and store of value, contrasting it against gold.

Great interview, MSaylor, answers are very complex and well defined, that makes it easy to understand. His research and adoption of "The Best Crypto Asset", as he explains and compares, with a breakdown with the pros & cons, makes lots of sense. Maybe passionate or subjective on the his personal take, but this is a very bright, educated and intelligent man, who with all the volatilities in the crypto ecosystem, still remains very focus and positive about it. Regulators know that by delaying crypto regulation, they are slowing down and hurting Bitcoin, due to derivatives and rehypothecation of paper Bitcoin. By hurting Bitcoin, they effectively stall and delay development of crypto tokens as well. So, the regulators THEMSELVES are attacking the thing they are being asked to fairly regulate.

Saylor never really answered the questions about the potential danger of a bitcoin derivatives market to impact the value of bitcoin and affect its relative volatility. If Bitcoin is to eventually be adopted by billions of people, it's volatility needs to be reduced significantly. A "regulated" Bitcoin derivatives market would very likely not serve that purpose. The only purpose it would serve would be to make bankers and billionaires even more extraordinarily wealthy than they already are. He knows this and so he skirted the question by talking about custodianship and she let him off the hook.

Buy Bitcoin, sell the idea of Bitcoin. It's beauty is in its simplicity. Stated very articulately. Most of those cryptos labeled as "securities" are not. Cardano has it's last era "Voltaire" in which it relinquishes any lingering form of connection to the asset ADA. Essentially becoming Bitcoin, yet with smart contracts, dApps, PoS's energy consumption advantage and it's faster than even the BTC lightning upgrade. Just to name one. So, Voltaire passes does the SEC remove the allegation or is it corrupt? There's really no in between.
