Depositors in US Banks do not realize that you do have FDIC Insurance up to 250,000 but they can take up to 99 years to pay you back

Singapore banks are safe? Checkout the number of bank "outages" in the past 2 years, the fines they got, the capital reserve increase imposed on them as a result...safe? Have u done your research? oh...and their FDIC insures up to SGD100k ONLY.

No bank is safe. Regardless of whether it's in Singapore or Hong Kong or anywhere on earth. None. If CREDIT SUISSE at market cap of USD200 billion can fail so spectacularly, there's no bank that is safe. All the top three Singapore banks added up don't even make up that level of market cap.

those who don't know the underlaying software structure of all the bitcoin type digital currency are the suckers who will be the biggest losers, if bitcoin type currency is so good, why do you think all the world government don't jump on it immediately? even the BRICs trying desperately to move away from the USD are still unable to come out with a digital currency, why? they could have use bitcoin or similar? this is called " fools go where angels dare not go" the main problem with digital currency is that it must have a unique ID that cannot be cracked and can be authenticated and certified independently. people can exchange it for real gold, so it really has value. not just paper or digital value. bitcoin and the like do not really have this proven feature but instead have a lot of BS and smoke, it will be the case of who will be holding the baby when the music stops.

Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Sonia campbell
