Earlier this week, top authorities summoned meeting in Prime Minister's office with representatives of Delhi,Haryana,Rajsthan,uttar-Pradesh and Panjab. The focal point of this meeting was to prevent air quality from disastorous factors such as use of diesel vehicles, dust, solid waste managements, burn paddy straw etc. Solely Panjab and Hariyana are responsible for 40% of air pollution because of they produce million tonnes of paddy straw during October and November. Last November, The Apix Court strictly ordered not to burn But this was not the whole solution of this problem therefore this year it had called for center to know about the steps that had been taken for resolve this matter. To know the solution of problem is not so important as to create economic incentives as well as punitive measures. Now the State and the Central Government must collaborate beyond their political differences.

Over the years, Delhi have been witnessing an annual spike in winter pollution due to the burning of paddy leftovers in Punjab and Haryana. In order to cope up with it, a top functionary convened a meeting with representatives from northern India. Today's summary of the editorial, this is my first summary of an article. I hope you will consider it to discuss in the next session. Recently, The Prime Minister summoned the multiple states to discuss about the possible root of causes of pollution that leads to winter pollution in northern states of India. The supreme court, last year advised the states to take measured which was given by the apex court, and now supreme court asked the center about what steps have been taken to decrease the level of stubble burning, which cause the pollution in the Delhi NCR region. Meanwhile Punjab and Haryana, both states done well in their states respectively in decreasing the percentage of stubble burning, while the share of stubble burning rosed to 40% in UP. It has been noted that the measures to decrease stubble burning are there but those methods are not available to the farmers when required for e.g., farmers faced difficulty while moving their agriculture waste from their lands to the plant.

Indo- Gangetic plains were going to be surrounded with winter pollution caused by the stubble burning in neighboring states of the capital. For that, Prime Minister's office assembled the representative of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, along with several other minister to present the worsening of air quality in Delhi. Last year in November, the Supreme Court has completely abondoned such sort of burning and asked the Centre for their precautionary measures towards it. Apex court also gave a cautioned regarding air pollution and order center to Gave reports to them about the progress. Most of the air pollution is caused by stubble burning. It's a matter of quite relief that Punjab 59% , Haryana 40% reduced it but on the other side a 30% increase had seen in UP from previous year. SC suggested that such burning completely ceases and take punitive measure in case of stubble burning. Punjab and Haryana took measures regarding this concern by paddy straw on the field and ex-situ methods. Pellets is a source of carbon , it can be used in place of stubble burning. But the matter of heart sinked is unavailability of several machines. So govt should seriously think about that matter and took initiative for development in mechanaries for good results. And lastly the states and Centre should be work on this matter together besides political gains.

Crux of the editorial: As the monsoon going to an end the states like punjab Haryana, Rajasthan and uttar pradesh are ready to brace themselves for the annual spike in winter pollution .the environment pollution is worsening day by day . Last year there was 40 percent of pollutants in October November which is almost half of the total environmental pollution .the main reason is considered for the pollution is burning the remaining straw.the apex court orderd regarding it that burning of remained straw should be completely ceased.
